Avalon Antiques & Treasures Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Avalon Antiques & Treasures. We specialize in antique toys, cast-iron banks, vintage collectibles, and other unique treasures. Because many of our items are rare, fragile, and one-of-a-kind, we take great care in packaging and shipping every order.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received and cleared.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

In the event of a delay, we will contact you using the information provided at checkout.

Shipping Methods

We ship through reputable carriers, including:

  • USPS

  • UPS

  • FedEx

 

Shipping methods and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout when available.

 
Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Package size and weight

  • Destination

  • Shipping method selected

  • Insurance requirements for valuable items

 

Shipping charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Packaging of Antique and Fragile Items

Many of our products are vintage, antique, or fragile collectibles. We carefully package all items using protective materials designed to minimize the risk of damage during transit.

Whenever appropriate, items may be double-boxed and padded to ensure safe delivery.

Insurance

Orders containing valuable or fragile items may be shipped with insurance coverage.

Insurance costs, when applicable, may be included in the shipping charge.

Customers are encouraged to inspect packages immediately upon delivery.

Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Retain all packaging materials.

  2. Take photographs of the package and damaged item(s).

  3. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

If a package is lost in transit, please contact us so we can assist in filing a claim with the shipping carrier.

Avalon Antiques & Treasures is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but subsequently lost, stolen, or misplaced after delivery.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be subject to additional shipping charges before reshipment.

International Shipping

International shipping may be available on select items.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Brokerage fees

  • Any additional fees imposed by their country

 

Delivery times for international orders may vary due to customs processing.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available by appointment for certain items. Please contact us prior to purchase to arrange pickup details.

Multiple Item Orders

If multiple items are purchased, we may combine shipments when possible to reduce shipping costs and ensure safe delivery.
